THÉÂTRE SANS FRONTIÈRES presenta -  SHERLOCK HOLMES: THE SPECKLED BAND

The Speckled Band es un relato corto sobre Sherlock Holmes que posteriormente convirtió en obra de teatro el propio autor, Arthur Conan Doyle. Tiene como heroína a una joven decidida que es maltratada por un padrastro manipulador y, como tal, es una de las pocas historias de Sherlock Holmes con una presencia femenina proactiva. También es una exploración del estatus de la mujer en la Inglaterra del siglo XIX y nos invita a pensar en qué podría diferir del actual.
Además de todo lo que se espera en un misterio de asesinato de Sherlock Holmes ambientado en la Inglaterra del siglo XIX, asistimos también a una pieza que confronta muchos temas relevantes con la audiencia del siglo XXI.
