Alan Parson, nacido en la ciudad inglesa de Londres, es música, ingeniero de sonido, compositor y productor.
Desde muy pequeño Alan ya mostraba un gran talento musical, lo que le llevo a más adelante convertirse en ingeniero musical. Trabajo para artistas como The Beatles y Pink Floyd, por algunos de sus trabajos con estos grupos obtuvo varias nominaciones a los Grammys.
Una vez reconocido su éxito como ingeniero de sonido, decide lanzarse al mundo musical junto al pianista Erin Woolfson. Juntos crean The Alan Parson Project, en la que ambos componían las músicas para una amplia gama de cantantes y músicos de respeto. Finalmente Parson y Woolfson se separan. Es entonces cuando Alan decide comenzar su carrera en solitario como músico con el lanzamiento de varios discos y actuaciones en directo.
Alan Parson no abandona nunca la producción ni el ser ingeniero de sonido, además comienza a componer algunas bandas sonoras.
Actualmente vive en California junto a su mujer y sus hijas. Continúa dedicándose a la música y haciendo tours mostrando lo que fue The Alan Parson Project. El próximo 20 de abril podrás disfrutar de su mítica actuación en el Gran Canaria Arena. Compra tus entradas aquí.
